Salary: Ark MPS/UPS (£35,368-£53,230) depending on experience, TLR available for the right candidate

Isaac Newton Academy is a non-denominational, non-selective school, welcoming students of all backgrounds from the local community. We opened in 2012 with our inaugural cohort of 180 year 7 students. Our school won Secondary School of the Year in the 2018 Shine a Light Awards for its commitment to developing pupils' communication skills and was shortlisted for Secondary School of the Year in the 2018 TES Awards. Our Music Department were recently shortlisted for Excellence in Creative Arts at the TES School Awards 2023.

The opportunity

We are now seeking a skilled and committed teacher to join the English department. This position will entail working closely with the Associate Assistant Principal - English & Literacy and other post-holders in the English team to support the achievement of students at Isaac Newton Academy. You will have a chance to collaborate with other Ark teachers and leaders across the network, where there are numerous opportunities to develop knowledge and expertise.
