Join Us as We have Welcomed a Record Number of Students - Help Us Grow in Excellence!

JLC is offering an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Languages department. This year we have a record number of students and we need you to help us support and guide our students to their achievements. We are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about the subject, enjoys working as part of a team, is able to consistently deliver high-quality results, and adept at inspiring and motivating students to help achieve their dreams.

The ideal candidate will be ready to work with our Level 2 provision, providing quality lessons for our students looking to get their qualification for GCSE English. There is future scope for Level 3 courses (A-Level English and Literature) dependent on qualifications and future student growth. We are looking for an adaptive teacher that is able to create bespoke work to groups to get the results that the students need to move forward with their educational journey.

In return, we pride ourselves on offering more than just a place to work. At JLC, we promote a wider college community where departments, staff, and students come together to create a dynamic and supportive environment for all. By joining our team, you will have an opportunity to experience a collaborative and inclusive work culture, to partake in diverse and engaging activities and events and to be able to utilise state-of-the-art resources and facilities. On top of this you will also get the opportunity to work with dedicated educators, as well as the possibility for professional growth and development.

The College has excellent in-house training programs for Early Career Teachers and aspiring leaders, ongoing CPD opportunities in-house, part of ACT and externally, and we would support individuals who would be taking their first steps into teaching. The college offers a wide variety of benefits for staff, including free parking, on site catering facilities, TPS pensions and access to a wide variety of locally agreed discounts.

If you would like to arrange a visit or have any questions, please contact the HR team by email humanresources@leggott.ac.uk who will be happy to help.
