  • The successful candidate will:
  • Be an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of success across the age range, preferably including at KS5 (English Language or English Literature).
  • Hold the belief that all students, regardless of background or prior attainment, can and deserve to make excellent progress in English.
  • Help to drive up standards and outcomes through high quality teaching at all levels.
  • Contribute willingly to the range of enrichment opportunities for students in English.
  • Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students, staff and the wider community.
  • Have a professional drive, energy, determination and aspiration.
  • Be keen to contribute to curriculum development work.
  • Be a reflective practitioner who is open to coaching and research-led CPD.
