St John's is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Teacher of English. The successful candidate will join one of the school's most effective and respected departments, working and collaborating with an exceptionally committed and talented team of practitioners.
The English department's results are consistently excellent and have been a major contributing factor to the exceptional whole school outcomes achieved in recent years. The subject is extremely popular with our pupils and uptake at A Level is very high; we offer both A Level English Literature and A Level English Language to our Key Stage 5 pupils.

St John's is a very successful co-ed Catholic school with over 1300 students including c.300 in our Sixth Form.
