Full Job Description

Due to school expansion and increasing cohort sizes we are currently looking to appoint a suitable candidate to the position of English teacher. This role is ideal if you are looking to take the next step in your professional career in a thriving educational environment. We welcome applicants of all levels of experience.

You will be suitably qualified with QTS in a relevant subject area as well as a degree at 2:1 or above. You will have experience of teaching English from KS3-5. You will also be emotionally intelligent, highly motivated and be willing to take measured risks to deliver an innovative, creative and engaging curriculum that develops students' thinking skills, progress and aspirations. This post is the ideal position for someone looking to gain experience for a future HOD role and would work closely with the Head of English to ensure the provision on offer is of the highest levels of quality and enjoyment. The English department is welcoming and supportive and will immediately provide both autonomy and support to anyone joining the team.
