Teacher of French - Full-time

Strood Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of French to join our dynamic Modern Foreign Languages department. We are looking for an innovative educator who is committed to fostering a love for languages and developing students' skills in French across the Key Stages., + Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
+ Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in French.
+ Assess, track, and report on students' progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
+ Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and participate in department meetings and initiatives.
+ Support and encourage students' participation in extra-curricular activities related to language learning., Working for Strood Academy: Since opening in 2009, our academy has transformed the educational opportunities and outcomes for girls and boys in Strood. The improvement in academic performance has been driven by a talented and committed workforce, the hard work of our students, and support from parents and our community. Our new buildings in Carnation Road were designed in partnership with Nicholas Hare and built by BAM as our main contractor at a cost of £26m. They opened in September 2012 and have outstanding learning environments and outside play areas as well as fantastic sports facilities. + Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in French.
+ Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the French language and culture.
+ Be committed to promoting the importance of MFL and be enthusiastic about innovative teaching methods.
