Full Job Description

We're looking for an exceptional Teacher of PE at Co-op Academy Leeds; a true advocate for the subject who will deliver effective teaching and learning in Physical Education whilst raising the profile of PE and sports within the academy and wider learning community, through development and promotion of high quality extra-curricular activities and opportunities for our young people.

At the top of your game, you'll be an inspirational practitioner naturally able to enthuse, motivate and develop a love of learning and participation. A true passion for PE and a strong commitment to developing young people who achieve their potential is essential.

You'll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.

As a colleague at Leeds, you'll work within a diverse learning community, striving to deliver an outstanding working and learning experience for all. Therefore, a genuine passion for working and making a real difference in the community is essential.

Additionally, there will be the opportunity to develop into a Regional Sports Event Coordinator, where you would have the responsibility and autonomy to organise a range of sport activities, fixtures and competitions within the Co-op Academies Trust across Leeds, to encourage the wider participation of children competing in sport enrichment activities; this includes work with our feeder primary schools.

So, if you're an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of PE, committed to the spirit of cooperation, then we'd be delighted to hear from you.

We welcome applications from both Newly Qualified or experienced teachers.
