About the Role:

• Position: Teacher of Health and Social Care / Education and Childcare


• Contract: Up to full-time, Permanent


• Start Date: January 2025 (or earlier, depending on notice period and pre-employment checks)


• Salary: Sixth Form Colleges' Main Teaching Scale (up to £47,133 per annum)


• Pension: Teachers' Pension Scheme


As a teacher at Priestley College, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, ensuring that students are supported in achieving their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to a variety of learning needs.


• Set high expectations to inspire and challenge students of all backgrounds.


• Monitor student progress, assess their work, and provide constructive feedback.


• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.


• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and contribute to the wider curriculum.


• Promote equality and diversity, ensuring that all students feel valued and included.
