Located in the semi-rural village of Swanwick on the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border and within easy reach of the M1, Swanwick Hall is an 11-18 school with over 1,000 students situated on a beautiful 23-acre site around a Grade 2 listed Hall.

The role:

We are delighted to be recruiting for an inspirational Teacher of History to join our high-performing, forward thinking and cohesive Humanities Faculty. The History department are looking for a strong and confident practitioner who has a passion for inspiring students. We teach a well sequenced and knowledge rich curriculum with a clear focus on inclusive teaching ensuring all students achieve positive outcomes.

The candidate appointed will have impressive subject knowledge and a desire to be part of a team of committed professionals within the Humanities Faculty and the whole school. We welcome committed, dynamic and creative applicants with a passion for History. There is potentially a TLR for the right candidate.

The person:

We are looking for someone who has a real passion for History and their teaching and can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a range of skills and experiences that they can bring to our school to complement our current talented team of teachers.
