Location: Ampleforth College Salary: Dependent on experience Closing date: 25th October 2024, Midday Interviews: the week commencing 4th November Start Date: January 2025 Founded in 1802 and set in a beautiful Yorkshire valley, Ampleforth College is the world's foremost Catholic boarding school, welcoming girls and boys of all faiths aged 11-18. We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History, who is committed to giving students the confidence to search for answers, to be inquisitive and turn interests into enthusiasms. The History department is a friendly, thriving department with excellent resources, which prioritises student enjoyment and engagement with the subject, and ensures progress for all students. This post would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or an early career teacher (ECT). In return we offer the following benefits:-
