Teacher of History and Geography Are you passionate about teaching Humanities and determined to inspire every student to reach their full potential? Do you have the commitment to ignite a love for History and Geography in young minds? If you are a talented and inspiring teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a dedication to raising pupil achievement at all levels, we invite you to join our successful Humanities team. We are a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 rural school with excellent facilities. We are a happy, forward thinking, creative and collegiate staff body and you will be joining the school at an exciting stage of its development. MPR/UPR 0.6 FTE Permanent Required for April 2025 or sooner To be successful you will need to:

  • Teach History and Geography across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach at KS5.
  • Utilise excellent communication, collaboration, listening, adaptability, empathy, and patience.
  • Embody our values of 'Achievement through Caring.'
  • Set high expectations for yourself and serve as a role model for others.
  • Play a pivotal role in the Humanities Department, working closely with the Head of Department to drive success.
