Full Job Description

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4. This would include Humanities.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider maths department, supporting curriculum development and participating in departmental meetings.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high expectations for student behaviour and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure student success.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS)
  • Has experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Is committed to promoting a positive learning experience for all students.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.
