Teacher of Law & Criminology (0.8 FTE) Closing date: 9:00am on Monday 11 November 2024 Actual salary: SFCA Teacher Pay Scale, currently £30,500 per annum to £47,133 per annum (pro rata for 0.8 FTE) The successful candidate will be an experienced and outstanding classroom practitioner, with a passion for their subject and the ability to inspire young people to study and achieve. They should be committed to maintain the highest professional standards, an enthusiastic team player who is willing to embrace the very best of current pedagogies to ensure that all learners achieve their potential. They should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college and should have excellent communication skills alongside a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students' progress. The Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty has range of provision which includes A levels in History ,Sociology Law, Psychology, MFL, Politics and Philosophy and Ethics. The faculty also has a broad vocational curriculum and offers a range of Level 3 BTECs including Law, Psychology and the WJEC Diploma in Criminology. We can offer you:
