King's Academy Binfield (KAB) is looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative teacher of Mathematics to join our well-resourced and high achieving team of teachers. This opportunity would suit an early career teacher (ECT) as well as a more experienced candidate, a full or part time role will be considered. Applicants will be joining a faculty that:

  • Seeks opportunities to work collaboratively across the faculty through dedicated curriculum time which is built into timetabled hours for staff each week
  • Is passionate about subject specific CPD
  • Is motivated to look for opportunities to improve the well-being and workload of its staff
  • Understands the importance of curriculum design and delivery
  • Is reflective and focused on improving teaching and learning at all levels
  • Offers A-Level, Core Maths & Further Maths at A-level.
  • Is developing the innovative ways of using technology in the classroom
  • Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 and we have grown year on year. In addition to the secondary phase, we also have two primary phases set across two sites, King's Academy Binfield (KAB) and King's Academy Oakwood (KAO). From September 2023, we have students from year N to year 6 in primary and year 7 through to year 11. Our new 6th form provision, KAB6, opened in September 2023, we have our first cohort of year 13 students from September 2024. Applicants should be excellent teachers and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead students to excel. The successful candidate will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life.
