Teacher of PE

We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Physical Education to join Downe House School for 2 terms to cover a period of maternity leave.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Own transport is essential as the school is in a rural location with no public transport links.

Part Time or Full Time - Maternity Cover - 2 Terms from January 2025 Core department hours are 8.30 to 6.00 Monday to Friday and 8.30 to 12.00 on a Saturday Sports Fixtures take place on Saturday afternoons., We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Physical Education to join us for 2 terms to cover a period of maternity leave. Our working week is Monday to Saturday with sports fixtures taking place on Saturday afternoons. The ability to be able to work a full Saturday is preferable. For full time staff our timetable allows for time off in the week if a Saturday is worked. We are looking for a good 'all-rounder' but a Cricket specialist would be interesting as we are looking to develop this area.
