Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, forward-thinking and committed teacher with a real interest in the provision of high quality and imaginative teaching to join an experienced and supportive faculty of Physical Education. The successful candidate will be at home specialising in coaching either girls' or boys' sports teams and clubs to a high level in their specialist sport, as well as being able to teach a range of activities to mixed ability and mixed gender classes. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a large team that offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, attains excellent results at GCSE and A level and fields competitive and successful teams in all sports. Our extra-curricular sporting uptake at the school is exceptional with sport playing a significant role in the life of the school and our students. Deliberate Practice, Curriculum specific training and Instructional Coaching are at the heart of our pedagogical training model with every teacher having the opportunity to work one-to-one with an expert coach. Additionally, we have a legacy of developing educational leaders including supporting staff through a range of National Professional Qualifications.
