Teacher of Religion and Life

Permanent - Full Time

MPS/UPS Outer London

Required: January 2025

We are looking to recruit a passionate and committed Teacher of Religion and Life to join our highly successful social sciences faculty in our heavily oversubscribed school, which has a reputation for providing outstanding support for staff and students.

You would teach Religion and Life at KS3 and KS4. The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic teacher who will fit in well with the school, and who will be dedicated to helping its students achieve success; potential is more important than length of experience. An ability to teach Sociology and/or Psychology and/or Health & Social Care would be beneficial, but not essential.

Edmonton County School always looks to recruit committed and ambitious professionals who are keen to develop their talents. Potential is more important than length of experience. A TLR may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.

Edmonton County School is a mixed, all-through, multicultural, dual campus school with a genuinely comprehensive intake. We are a good school with outstanding aspects and we enjoy teaching well-motivated students. The school is in an exciting stage of its development and we welcome applications from people who want to become part of a consistently improving school. For ECTs we have subsidised accommodation for rent available.

Apply directly through TES or download an application pack from the school website www.edact.org.uk or email us at ECSrecruitment@edact.org.uk

Applications are to be processed as received, therefore early application is recommended.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early.

CVs will not be accepted as formal application.

EdAct is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are expected to demonstrate this commitment by signing the school's Code of Conduct.
