Full Job Description

This is an exciting position for a dedicated and inspirational teacher of religion, philosophy and ethics to join our team at City of London School for Girls.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, well-qualified, and highly committed graduate with a proven track record of teaching religious studies or similar from year 7 to A level.

The part-time teacher of RPE should make a positive contribution to good practice in the school by generating enthusiasm for the work in their department, building good relationships with colleagues, parents and students and by encouraging and establishing high standards in the teaching and learning of religion, philosophy and ethics. Lesson observation is encouraged as part of good practice.

The successful candidate should contribute fully to the development of the whole community in accordance with the aims of the school.

The person appointed will be an excellent communicator with good leadership and inter-personal skills, capable of communicating their enthusiasm for RPE to students, parents and teachers alike.
