Full Job Description

Northampton High School is looking for a well-qualified graduate with a passion for teaching and excellent subject knowledge to join us on a part-time basis from January 2025.

You will teach the main science disciplines across the Senior School, with a preferred focus on Biology. You will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons based on a unified science course at Year 7-8, individual science subjects from Year 9 and your specialism to A Level (and possibly Oxbridge entrance).

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to continuing professional development. You will be an excellent communicator who can enthuse and inspire both pupils and colleagues and will have exciting ideas about science teaching and the ways in which Biology can be further developed and encouraged across the whole school.
