A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a full time Science Teacher to work in the Science Department of one of our busy secondary schools. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic school community. The ideal candidate will be a skilled Science Teacher with a strong ability to inspire and engage students in the world of science. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching all three sciences to students across a variety of age groups. The successful Science Teacher will be able to deliver exciting, hands-on lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking. Experience in teaching all three sciences is preferable, as the Science Teacher will need to help students understand and appreciate the interconnections between different scientific disciplines. We are looking for a Science Teacher who is enthusiastic about creating a positive learning environment and fostering a love for science in all students.   • Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:
  • Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
  • Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
  • Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
  • You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
