Job Title Teacher of Science - All disciplines considered Employment Status: Full time Actual Salary: MPS/ UPS + R&R Allowance (for the suitable candidate) Required: Janaury 1st 2025 Location: Coventry About the role We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is committed to providing the very best outcomes for all of our students. You will be passionate about the role of teaching science and must be able to teach across all key stages. Applications from new entrants to the profession will be welcomed and excellent support is available for an ECT. The science department provides the opportunity to work within a well-qualified and experienced team to make a real difference to the learning of our young people. We are looking for someone who: · Has a clear understanding of their role within our school · Knowledge and understanding of the school's role in providing effectively for the individual needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs · An understanding of the broader secondary curriculum and the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum in the specialist subject All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children's welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
