Teacher of Science M1-M3 (£38,766- £42,536) Required for September 2025 or sooner if applicable. The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is seeking to employ a Full-time, Permanent Teacher of Science. The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School require a science teacher who is committed to raising the achievements of our students. We recognise that science is a way of thinking, about how you look at the world and questioning the world around you. You will be joining a strong, enthusiastic, subject specialist team with a track record of success. There is a high uptake of all three Sciences at Key Stage 5, with many students applying for STEM courses at Oxbridge. In addition, outcomes for our students are outstanding at Key Stage 4, with 81% of students scoring grades 9-4 in Combined Science and strong results in Separate Sciences. You will teach in a designated Science teaching room equipped with outstanding teaching resources. We try to utilise each Science teacher's specialism as far as we can at GCSE and A level . Applications are welcome from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics specialists and there are opportunities for A level teaching for strong candidates. ECTs are also welcome to apply. What we offer:
