We seek applications from those of the Catholic faith, all faiths and of no faith but who are supportive of our Christian values and ethos.
Required January 2025
We are seeking an enthusiastic and/or experienced Science teacher /ECT to teach across KS3 to KS5.
Suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT. We have a strong record of supporting ECT's and have an active ECT cohort and support program.
Whether this is your first teaching role or you are looking for a new challenge, if you have the skills, approach and attributes to inspire pupils in developing a love of science and help them achieve and exceed their expectations in our bright and modern science classrooms in our excellent school this might be the role for you.
St Mary's Catholic School is a founding member of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust, established in September 2021. This post represents an ideal opportunity for an ambitious candidate to assume the leadership of a core subject area across all key stages.
You will be joining and supported by a team of experienced and dedicated department colleagues in a school which has a tremendously talented, committed, creative, and innovative staff; parents who are supportive; and students who are eager to learn, well behaved and motivated to succeed.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A DBS disclosure is required for all successful applicants. St Mary's is committed to the equality of opportunity for all applicants, and we reserve the right to interview on a rolling basis, therefore an early application is advisable.
