The Science Department

The Science Department includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Vocational Science taught across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. With more than 10 specialist Science teachers, all passionate about delivering outstanding science lessons, it is an extremely exciting place to teach science.

The department is well-resourced with laboratories, two prep rooms and dedicated technicians. Every classroom benefits from an interactive whiteboard and a visualiser. The department also has its own staff workroom and a dedicated department computer room.

We are now looking for an excellent teacher to further enhance our team. And, for those who are ready to lead, we are excited to offer the possibility of a TLR to add capacity to our existing Science leadership team.

The successful applicant will be passionate about science and science education. They will be well organised, energetic, and willing to go the 'extra mile'. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have a proven track record of successful science teaching across different key stages and believe that all students can succeed in science.
