Strood Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint a Teacher of Social Sciences from September 2025. We are seeking to appoint an inspiring teacher who will play a pivotal role in the progress and drive of this department. You'll be joining the school at an exciting time as the rapid improvements we are making are gaining momentum. Whether you are at the very start of your teaching career or an experienced practitioner, we can offer tailored CPD and opportunities within the academy and across the wider Trust in due course to suit you.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to teach Social and Cultural Anthropology (IB), Psychology (IB) and Health and Social Care (BTEC). Experience delivering Criminology (Eduqas) and Law (BTEC) would be desirable. Training can be delivered, where necessary, to upskill our successful candidate in the delivery of the IB programmes.
