At Leigh Academy Rainham, we are proud of the strong foundations we have built since opening in 2021. As a growing and ambitious school, we are looking for a Teacher of Social Sciences to join us in September 2025 in preparation for our 6th form opening in September 2026. The ideal candidate would be able to teach a minimum of one of the following KS4/5 subjects and an additional KS3 subject as part of the national curriculum:

We're looking for a passionate and committed teacher of Social Sciences who can inspire students to understand the importance of this field and its impact on society. The successful candidate will be required to teach a second subject to a minimum of KS3 which will be discussed as part of the interview process. The successful candidate will also need to be able to establish and implement at least one of the listed Social Sciences at KS4 and KS5 as part of a growing offer not yet delivered at Leigh Academy Rainham, with the support of the Trust .
