Cleeve Meadow School is an ambitious and dynamic SEND school providing a highly specialised education for 135 students between 11 and 19 years of age, who have moderate learning difficulties and may have associated additional needs. The support and guidance students receive from staff will give them the confidence to learn independently and strive to achieve. The school aims to be a centre of excellence for its students, parents/carers, staff, local authorities and the wider community. In the role as Teaching Assistant, you will work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the Teacher and Senior TA to support access to learning for the student and provide general support to the Teacher in the management of students and the classroom. Support the student consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs ensuring their safety and encourage students to interact with others and to engage in activities led by the teacher.
