Teaching Assistant

Initial Education are looking to recruit passionate and highly motivated Teaching Assistants over the next few weeks/months ready to start work in September.
We currently work with schools across the South Gloucester area, providing them with short and long term cover, depending on the needs of the school and therefore will be looking for candidates who would like to work on a part time or full time basis.
Your role within the classroom, will be to provide support to the Class Teacher and work with the pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small intervention groups.
Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is not essential, however we do ask that you have at least 3 months experience in a role that involves working with children.
Your main responsibilities will be:
+ To build and maintain successful relationships with pupils
+ To help promote independent learning.
+ To complete in-class observations and assessments
+ To develop study and organisational skills.
+ To liaise with the SENDCo where necessary
+ To help build the students confidence and enhance self-esteem.
