Teaching Assistant

The Governors of this outstanding, Roman Catholic school are looking to appoint an exceptional, reflective and dynamic classroom practitioner to join our teaching assistant team.
The post is initially to support, on a 1 to 1 basis in a Year 4 class.
Flexibility will be key for the successful person. As this role is Level 3 the successful candidate will be expected to cover classes throughout the school in instances of short term need.
The successful candidate will:

• Be willing to support the catholic ethos of the school
  
  Have recent and relevant Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school


• Possesses excellent numeracy/literacy skills, GCSE level


• Possesses excellent behaviour management skills


• Have a round knowledge of the primary education curriculum


• Have high expectations


• Be enthusiastic, caring, energetic, self-motivated


• A desire to help every individual reach their full potential
