Full Job Description

Outwood Academy Valley are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their academy. This is a rewarding role where you will work to support the learning of individuals or work with small groups of pupils under the direction of teaching staff. This is a temporary contract for the academic year 2024/25 in the first instance, with the potential for this to be extended.

We are looking for an individual who has high aspirations for students, who is committed, and passionate about learning; who has the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of 'Students First'.

The role of Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
