Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled teaching assistant to join our supportive and experienced team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide appropriate levels of in-class support and interventions primarily to children in Key Stage 2. All required training will be provided.

This role is initially a fixed-term appointment with the opportunity of becoming permanent in the future.

Candidates need to be aware that this is a Catholic school and it is important that candidates feel able to support and uphold this ethos fully.

All appointments will be subject to appropriate vetting, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Some roles may need to comply with the Childcare Act 2006, and the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2018 where additional disclosure of information will be required

Hours: 18 hours per week, term time only + 1 Inset day (8.45am - 15.15pm 3 days per week - flexibility to choose certain days)

Salary: Grade 3 (£9,682 - £9,844 per annum)

This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2025 pending a review of the schools budget.
