Full Job Description
- Working with individuals and groups of students, assist in ensuring students are engaged and focussed.
- Helping implement lesson plans, learning aims, and content with the teacher.
- Providing verbal and written feedback to students without reference to the teacher.
- Taking small group of students for defined activities.
- Providing basic admin support of both the ASF and SP including logging activities on the CRM software (training provided).
- Supporting and work with the teacher in testing/assessment.
- Providing individual student and group mentoring as required.
- Taking responsibility for a whole class during the absence of a teacher.
Knowledge of the statutory requirements of Equality and Diversity health and safety, safeguarding and child protection. - Ability to work effectively with students with complex needs and the ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written form.
- Ability to build positive and professional relationships with students, colleagues, parents/carers and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- GCSE Maths English (Minimum Grade C/4).
