Full Job Description

  • Working with individuals and groups of students, assist in ensuring students are engaged and focussed.
  • Helping implement lesson plans, learning aims, and content with the teacher.
  • Providing verbal and written feedback to students without reference to the teacher.
  • Taking small group of students for defined activities.
  • Providing basic admin support of both the ASF and SP including logging activities on the CRM software (training provided).
  • Supporting and work with the teacher in testing/assessment.
  • Providing individual student and group mentoring as required.
  • Taking responsibility for a whole class during the absence of a teacher.

    Knowledge of the statutory requirements of Equality and Diversity health and safety, safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work effectively with students with complex needs and the ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and
  • written form.
  • Ability to build positive and professional relationships with students, colleagues, parents/carers and other stakeholders as
  • appropriate.
  • GCSE Maths English (Minimum Grade C/4).
