Teaching Assistant

You will be responsible for supporting learning and progress, following guidance from staff and external agencies. You will deliver focused provision to specifically meet the needs of the child and will work alongside existing staff.

This role is for the specific needs of a pupil and is subject to periodic review. When the pupil is absent from school you may be required to undertake suitable alternative work for a limited period of time. The contract will however cease or the hours will be reduced upon either:-
1. The pupil no longer attends the school, or
2. If the allocation of hours is withdrawn following a review of the need for this support.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed by prior appointment.

Ideally we are seeking to employ experienced teaching assistants who have previously worked with SEND pupils. An understanding of the curriculum across the age ranges in a primary school would be an advantage.

28.75 hours per week Term Time Only, plus 5 TED Days

Required from: December 2024

Salary: Grade 1 Teaching Assistant (including SEND Allowance), £15,899.72 - £16,398.98 per annum
