Teaching Assistant

Ditcham Park School are seeking to recruit an exceptional KS2 teaching assistant, to support EYFS in the mornings and to provide general lunchtime support. This position is a 8 months fixed term contract to start in January 2025 08:00 - 4:00 Monday - Friday., The Teaching Assistant role is to support the Class Teacher and Head of Juniors in all aspects of school work as shown below, ensuring that statutory requirements are met. Supporting children with EHCP requirements and to work with the SEN team. To enable the child to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them and to provide a high standard of care as required and in accordance with the child's individual needs. Ideally, has experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to supervisor the mornings.

• Fostering the participation of pupils in the social and academic practices of the school
• Enabling pupils to become more independent learners
• Helping to raise standards of achievement for class pupils
• Support the Learning Support Department with access arrangements
• The ability to work as a member of a dedicated, hard-working TA team
