Full Job Description

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment by supporting students in their daily lessons and activities.
  • Individual and Group Support: Work with individual students or small groups to offer additional support, helping them stay engaged and focused on tasks.
  • Behavioural Support: Help manage classroom behaviour, reinforcing positive behaviour and working with teachers to address any challenges.
  • Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources, ensuring that students have access to the tools they need for each lesson.
  • Inclusion and Wellbeing: Encourage and support students' social and emotional wellbeing, promoting an inclusive and friendly classroom atmosphere.
  • Flexible Support: Be prepared to work across different schools and classrooms, adapting quickly to different settings, ages, and learning needs.

    We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team, working across a variety of schools in Wirral on a flexible, temporary basis.
  • This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's education, even if they don't have formal qualifications. Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not essential, as we value dedication, adaptability, and a positive attitude.,
  • Qualifications: No formal qualifications are required for this role, although a genuine interest in supporting children's education is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required; we welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who have a caring and supportive nature.
  • Skills: Good communication, patience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Clearance: An enhanced DBS check is required, and applicants must be willing to undergo a background check if they do not already have one.
