Job Alert: Full-Time Teaching Assistant at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Greenwich!, As a Teaching Assistant at our PRU, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behavior, including those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We are looking for a confident individual who is ready to engage with our secondary school-aged children and help them thrive in a nurturing environment., Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with challenging behavior.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using strategies that promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in behavior management and SEN.
