Teaching Assistant

The Primary School is looking to appoint aTeaching Assistant to join their School as soon as possible.This permanent role will support the professional work of teachers as directed.

• Have GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics, previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Be committed to the school s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
• Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour.
• Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
• Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or anywhere on the school site.
• Experience in Early Years is desirable.
  
  Hours: Permanent, Part-Time, Term-Time Plus 1 Week, 32-34.5 Hours Per Week
