Teaching Assistant

The Governors of St Joseph's Catholic Primary are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This role is to work in KS1 supporting different children on a one-to-one basis. The children have different needs and you would be fully supported to meet these. The children are not overly challenging and work well with oneto-one support.

The post is for 30 hours a week over Monday to Friday 8.45am until 3.15pm. This post is permanent and begins on 1 January 2025.

demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard
- have a good sense of humour (and a love of chocolate biscuits)
- preferably (although not essential) have experience of working one-to-one with children
experiencing some difficulties accessing learning due to additional needs
