Full Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant at KPHS, you will:

  • Work predominantly in classrooms, supporting SEND students, including those with SEMH needs.
  • Provide additional intervention to address individual learning needs, including pre-learning, over-learning, social and communication skills, and co-regulation techniques.
  • Promote inclusion, independence, and positive relationships among students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and the SENCO to ensure all students thrive.
  • Deliver structured interventions and participate in the creation of individual SEND Passports.
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting equality and diversity.
