Full Job Description
Warmsworth is a large mainstream primary school, providing education for children aged between 3 and 11 years old. Our inclusive ethos means that we are supporting an increasingly higher number of children with additional needs, sometimes very complex, and we need additional staffing to best meet the needs of these children. The Governors of Warmsworth Primary School wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our support team. The successful candidate will be working under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to support teaching and learning in classrooms to work with both individuals with additional needs to provide personalised support, and larger groups of children. This post will also include supporting children through the lunchtime period in a midday supervisor role.

- Have experience, or an interest and understanding, of supporting primary aged children and Special Educational Needs and Disability
- Be able to lead learning in groups of children
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Mathematics to Grade C or above, or equivalent)
Full-Time, Permanent from February 2025, (to commence once all checks are completed) Hours: Monday to Friday 8.50am to 3.30pm (30 hours and 50 mins) with 30 minutes lunch break, - A very welcoming, caring school ethos, where we are passionate about meeting the needs of all children and develop each child as a whole
