Full Job Description

  • Support classroom activities in KS1 during the morning sessions, focusing on assisting children with varying educational needs.
  • Transition to KS2 in the afternoons, providing tailored support where needed and helping to facilitate a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to implement educational plans and activities that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Utilise SEN experience to provide specific support to students with additional needs, ensuring they are integrated and engaged in learning.
  • Monitor and support student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents to maximise student achievement.

    Reed/LTA are looking for a proactive and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a 'good' primary school providing support across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) in the mornings and Key Stage 2 (KS2) in the afternoons. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.,
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of the educational framework for KS1 and KS2.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging students and collaborating with staff.
