Teaching Assistant 3

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work with the teacher in a collaborative way, in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils with severe and/or profound and multiple learning needs. To establish positive, supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community. To assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum and its differentiation amongst pupils. To assist in devising pupil individual targets and their monitoring and review. • NVQ Level 3 or above qualification or equivalent, GCSE English Language and Mathematics A-C/Grade 4 or equivalent (Level 2)
Essential Experience
• Experience of working with or caring for children with severe and profound disabilities and/or challenging behaviour
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
