Full Job Description
The Governing Body of Churchdown Parton Manor Schools Federation wishes to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work for 18 hours each week, (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8.30-3.30) supporting KS1.
- Preferably has a relevant Level 2 qualification
- Is committed and passionate to giving children the best possible start in their education
- Has experience of working with pupils with social and emotional needs, moderate learning difficulties, requiring support with speech & language and social interaction
- Is able to provide consistent routines and boundaries
- Is resilient, adaptive and reflective in their approach
- Has knowledge of early reading, writing and maths skills and behaviour management strategies
- Has knowledge and experience of My Plans/EHCPs/ interventions
- Is able to adapt resources and lessons to support individual needs We will offer you:

- Children who are a pleasure to work with The post is fixed term in the first instance. The postholder will also have the opportunity for 1.5 hours per week MDS cover and there are often hours at our after school club.
