Teaching Assistant/Lead Practitioner Teaching Assistant

Permanent

£22,404 - £28,624 pro rata (£16,437 - £19,280 per annum)

30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Teaching Assistant: £22,404 - £25,183 pro rata (£16,437 - £16,962 per annum)

Lead Practitioner Teaching Assistant: £26,409 - £28,624 pro rata (£17,788 - £19,280 per annum)

We are seeking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant (TA) from November 2024. This role provides support to students who may have learning, behavioural, physical or emotional difficulties, mainly based within the classroom. There may also be some small group intervention support. You will be expected to work as part of a team and contribute to the positive impact of the Learning Support Department.

For suitably experienced candidates, there may be the possibility of a lead practitioner role. We are particularly seeking candidates who may have experience in ELSA or other emotional literacy support.
