Teaching Assistant Level 3

The Headteacher and Governors of Carnforth Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a positive, passionate and compassionate teaching assistant level 3 to support children in our new SEND Unit, for children with Communication and Interaction difficulties including ASD.

• Is patient and understanding
• Has a positive outlook
• Has good interpersonal skills and can work as part of a team
• Will develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, pupils and staff
• Will support and enhance the strong sense of community and ethos of the school, NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification appropriate to the post, English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Essential Experience
• Experience of working in a primary school environment
• Experience of working with children with additional needs
Desirable Experience Experience of working with the school SENCo
