We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the potential for future teacher training leading to QTS.. This role offers hands-on classroom experience and a unique opportunity to explore the teaching profession in a supportive school environment. For the right candidate, there is a clear progression pathway to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) through Educate's own SCITT programme leading to QTS. We provide comprehensive training to help you develop classroom management skills, along with mentorship from experienced teaching professionals. This will prepare you for a potential career in teaching. You will have the chance to collaborate with staff, engage with students, and contribute to the overall school community. Managing student behaviour, keeping students on task, and ensuring a positive learning environment are all essential aspects of this role. We are looking for graduates from any subject discipline who are passionate about education and interested in gaining practical classroom experience. You should possess strong communication skills, confidence in managing groups of students, and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude. While prior experience in an educational setting is helpful, it is not essential. What matters most is your commitment to supporting students and a genuine interest in pursuing a teaching career., - No qualifications are required, although good standards of literacy and numeracy are needed.
- Experience working with children or young people would be beneficial.
