Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an inclusive, enthusiastic and creative teaching assistant to primarily support our SEND pupils.,

  • To be responsible for providing bespoke support for individuals who have been identified as SEND.
  • Working under the direction of the class teacher and with the SENDCo, provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
  • To develop and promote effective working relationships with families, members of staff and external agencies as required.
  • Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
