Full Job Description

Chartham Primary School is looking for a talented and enthusiastic part time Teachng Assistant to join our team working 2 days a week. This is a fixed term appointment unitl 31/08/2025.

The successful candidate will:
+ Be determined to provide the very best outcomes for the children they work with
+ Be able to maintain positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
+ Have effective communication skills, both oral and written
+ Know how to effectively support children's reading, writing and maths knowledge and skills
+ Working closely with class teachers to promote children's learning and achievement
+ Supervise children at more unstructured times of the school day, engaging them in games and social skills activities
+ Demonstrate a willingness to take on board advice in order to develop further
