Teaching Assistant - The Rissington School

Teaching Assistants at The Rissington School work with all children with a variety of needs. This might be in the class supporting the teacher, with a specific child supporting their individual needs, or with a group of children, both in and out of the classroom.

Currently, this post is for 8:45 - 3:15pm, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch break each day. Teaching Assistants support the children during their lunchtime play. These specific hours, days and school site are subject to change depending on the needs of the school.

There is the possibility that this contract may be extended beyond the end of this academic year depending on the needs of the children.

We are looking for a professional with good interpersonal skills, who loves working with and can relate to children, is organised and adaptable. The successful candidate should be a good team player as well as take on ideas and attend training as required.
