Full Job Description

As a Teaching Fellow in Adult Nursing you will undertake teaching while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience. Based within the School of Health and Care you will work closely with other academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure, as appropriate, relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses. Duties include:

  • Supporting with the design and delivery of our UCAS and Apprenticeship Curriculum.
  • Lead on modules and courses at HE levels 4-7 in relevant academic subject areas including curation, adaptation and creation of learning materials, assessment and feedback tasks, inline with our quality assurance processes.
  • Upholding high standards of academic integrity in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Qualifications Required
  • NMC Registration in Adult Nursing (Current and Active) is essential for this role.
  • An Honours Degree in an appropriate/ relevant professional subject area with a professional qualification.
  • A teaching qualification or acceptance of the requirement to acquire one if not already held.
  • A PhD, or a master's degree would be advantageous.
